mission statement

People should have the chance to develop their musical abilities and potential as early as possible. MYC provides a comprehensive music program that integrates keyboard, singing, ear training, sight reading, creative movement, rhythm, music theory and music composition. Children between the ages of 3 to 11 and their parents benefit by acquiring solid music education in a fun group-based environment that enhances parent/child involvement . For anyone older than that, NOW is the time to start learning in a fun relaxed environment with measurable, achievable goals.

  about mister frank

I am the Studio Director for Muskoka Music Centre in Huntsville, Ontario. We offer Music Pups classes for ages 0-4, MYC group keyboard classes for ages 3-10, and Private Lessons in piano, drums, guitar, violin, singing, and theory.

I really enjoy teaching the Music for Young Children program. It's a great experience to see kids grasping musical concepts in a group lesson and having so much fun doing it! They come every week looking forward to seeing their friends and playing at music, and during the hour they end up learning in a solid fun way!

I am also the Central Ontario Coordinator for Music for Young Children. I recruit, train, support and encourage teachers in the Central Ontario area. There are music schools teaching the MYC program all over Canada, and 5 other countries! Check out www.myc.com for more information.
